Eco Plus
Anti-bacterial sponges are impregnated with chemicals such as triclosan, an antibacterial and antifungal agent registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as being a pesticide. There is increasing evidence linking triclosan to health problems (it messes with your hormonal system and thyroid) and destruction of algae and fragile aquatic ecosystems.

Ecodis started in Brittany, France, in 2000, specialising in designing and distributing household and personal eco-friendly and fairtrade products, and now employs more than 40 people.
