Eco Plus

Household plastic waste in the UK includes more than 3.5 billion bread bags and 1.3 billion fruit and veg bags a year. UK consumers use nearly three quarters of a million tonnes of throw-away plastic at home each year, almost all of which is incinerated. New schemes are being developed by bread manufacturers and supermarket to recycle bread bags, but these are mostly unused by consumers who remain confused about what plastics can and cannot be recycled. The best approach is always to reuse as many times as possible.

Ecodis started in Brittany, France, in 2000, specialising in designing and distributing household and personal eco-friendly and fairtrade products, and now employs more than 40 people.
