My First OPINEL

£13.00

SKU: EC02-138 Categories: , ,

Description

The Opinel pocket knife is passed down from generation to generation. It is now available with a rounded end for younger users. Its blade can trim sticks, cut string and cardboard, make shelters and sculpt small wooden objects. The dual safety lock allows the blade to be fixed in a closed or open position.

Small adventurers, handymen and gourmands will love it.

As a sharp object My First Opinel must be used under adult supervision.

The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, which is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge. A round ended tip for added safety, also perfect for picnic, to spread butter and make sandwiches.

The hornbeam wood handle is comfortable to hold, and has been covered in a protective varnish to make it moisture-resistant. It is ecologically sourced from managed forests in the Jura, France.

The Virobloc safety ring, or safety twist lock, allows the blade to be locked in either the open or closed position.

Made traditionally in Savoie, France, to the highest quality standards.

Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance. Hand wash, then dry thoroughly before folding.

It is against the law to sell knives to anyone younger than 18 years of age. OneStep will conduct age verification prior to dispatching this product.
