The CALIQUO bio-plastic eco toothbrush is the first of its type: innovative and long-lasting, thanks to its removable and interchangeable bristles system, reducing waste to a minimum. Why throw away a toothbrush every 3 months when only its bristles are worn out?
Each CALIQUO bio-plastic toothbrush comes with:
– a handle made of castor oil bio-plastic, designed to last for up to 10 years. A bio-sourced, ecological and sustainable material;
– a removable and interchangeable clickable bristle head, made with high-quality nylon, recyclable (check with your local council). Clip on new bristle head every three months
With the CALIQUO bio-plastic eco toothbrush, you will reduce your toothbrushing footprint by 8, reducing your plastic waste to 8g per year, i.e less than a single disposable toothbrush.

The average person uses 300 toothbrushes in their lifetime, which is a potential 264 million toothbrushes thrown away every year in the UK alone! That represents 12.5 million pounds of waste into landfills, sadly often ending up in our waterways and oceans.
Caliquo started in France in 2017 when Gregoire, an engineer who dreamed of becoming an inventor when he was a boy, found in his father’s loft a collection of 19th century toothbrushes made of bone. This triggered his interest and his pursuit for a more eco-friendly toothbrush was born.
