Bio plastics are an excellent alternative to traditional plastics: they are generated from sustainable sources, such as vegetable oils, corn starch, etc., they break down naturally and are naturally highly biodegradable. These degradable plastics are as strong and versatile as traditional plastics and present multiple advantages: they reduce our carbon footprint by saving energy during production and contain no health-damaging additives are contained, like phthalates or bisphenol.
