Made exclusively for oneStep by Be Eco Barn, these calico pouches are the perfect way of wrapping and carrying snacks of all kinds. The organic calico is thicker than the usual beeswax wraps, keeping your dried fruits, biscuits or nuts tightly sealed for freshness.

Each pack comes with two snack pouches of 14cmx14cm.

These pouches tick all the oneStep “no fuss no harm” boxes:

  • The calico fabric comes from India. It is a coarse plain-woven textile made from unbleached, un-dyed raw cotton fibres.
  • The pouches are made right here in a West London kitchen by Karen from Be Eco Barn.
  • They are stamped with Indian block prints.
  • They are functional, long lasting, reusable and affordable.

Be Eco Barn was launched in 2019 by Karen, who had taken the plastic-free pledge after watching A Plastic Ocean documentary, and started campaigning about the dangers of single use plastic. Karen works as a community leader to help people avoid unnecessary waste. Her beeswax wraps are lovingly hand made and ethically sourced. Much of the range is made from recycled fabric, cutting down on waste and adding a vintage slant to the designs.
