Description

Pack of 3 washable and reusable food covers in classic red gingham cotton fabric. 100% cotton with elasticated edges to cover any size bowl.

These covers are just right to help you move away from foil and cling film. They are perfect to cover leftovers!

Each pack comes with three individual covers in small, medium and large red gingham pattern. After use, just pop in the washing machine and re-use over and over again.

Dimensions:
Small – for bowls up to approx 10cm
Medium – for bowls up to approx 20cm

Production

Made from 100% cotton (Hunter Gatherer are currently exploring the use of organic cotton for this product).

Batches made in one of two factories, in Turkey or China.  Transported by road from Turkey and by sea freight from China in shared containers. Factories fully audited.

 

Eco Plus

Both cling film and foil are typically thrown out with domestic waste, which then goes to landfill or incineration. Both are made from finite, energy-intensive resources, namely petroleum and aluminium.

Brand

Hunter Gatherer began life in 2002 with Harriet Campbell hand making kindle cone firelighters and bowl covers in Dorset on the kitchen table. The bowl covers were a runner up in the Homes & Gardens Rural Business Award, and 15 years on, the kitchen table has become a bit too small for most of the production. Now, Hunter Gatherer also source all kinds of unusual items for the home.
